Prevalence of anxiety and depression in ecuadorian adolescents

Objective: To determine the prevalence and incidence of anxiety disorders depression with loneliness in a sample adolescents. Material methodology: Quantitative, correlational, cross-sectional study including 330 Ecuadorian adolescents selected by non-probabilistic purposive sampling. The Ad Hoc Questionnaire, Depression, Anxiety, Stress Scale (DASS-21), UCLA Loneliness were used for data collection. Results: Of adolescents, 65.5% male, mean age was 16.8 years. Sixty, 60% are their third year high school 39.4% second year. Most them live province Pichincha 36.1%. In they present an average 6.4 5.7; have 42 loneliness. There is positive correlation between anxiety, Finally, females higher levels depression. Conclusion: Adolescents do not or disorders, however, depression, loneliness, that is, probability Likewise, there evidence females.
